On 9 November 2020 the CUDIMHA consortium hosted a Welcome Day online to celebrate the official launch of the Master’s Programme in “Communication and valorisation of the Mediterranean cultural heritage” developed within the project. The event saw the participation of the teachers involved in the first semester that has been launched on the e-formare platform in e-learning mode, who introduced their courses to the students joining the session.
After a welcome remark by the project coordinator, the Project Officer in Brussels, Mrs. Carla Giulietti, congratulated the consortium for the great results so far achieved: “I am very happy because I think that this project is really promising. I have followed the project from the very beginning. […] I think this project really means a lot for us, first of all because we have much more projects in scientific disciplines as engineering and art sciences, and we don’t have enough projects in this kind of subjects (e.g. humanities, literature, languages, and so on). And this is for us a very promising project because this subject was largely underexploited by the previous projects and also because I experienced from the very beginning the real collaboration, the real work that you did together, collegially. […] I know that in this project you have worked very closely and very collegially from the very beginning, and you have built your project, you have sometimes changed the direction compared to the initial ideas, but this is normal. The way is constructed day by day when there is really a strong collaboration. So I am very pleased to be with you and I would like to wish you all success and to say to you that we expect very much from this project. I am sure you will deliver good results. And I would like to congratulate you because despite the challenging times we are living, you could keep the schedule. Even with the pandemic that is really hitting very hard on both shores of the Mediterranean, you could maintain the schedule that was foreseen.”
