From 05 to 09 May 2022 the National School of Architecture and Urbanism - ENAU organised a study trip to Toujen inaugurating the fourth semester of the CUDIMHA Master's programme in "Communication and Valorisation of the Mediterranean cultural heritage", which represents a first experience in the field of digital heritage mediation.
The trip served as a gateway to the final thesis. It will be also consolidated through an internship based on developing a project of heritage enhancement. This, in turn, will be of primordial importance to the general assessment of the skills acquired by the learners during this training.
Elected by the organisation "Green Destination" - as amongst the top 100 sustainable tourism destinations - the region of Dhahar and in particular the village of Toujen constitutes the main support of study and investigation of the students. The latter used a 3D scanner to reconstruct and model their project supports. This endeavor resulted in the signing of two cooperation agreements between the doctoral school EDSIA, the municipality of Toujen as well as the FTADD.
